PAThS - Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies

 PAThS is a social and emotional development programme.

 PAThS supports the development of emotional awareness, the vocabulary and language of emotions alongside emotional literacy.

It also teaches children problem solving skills and helps them develop positive peer relationships.

PAThS in Practice

· The programme will be delivered as part of welcome time Am and PM within the poppy room playroom

· Unit 1 — unit 4 will be delivered throughout the year

· Each child will be given the opportunity to be a helper

· This will be displayed within the playroom each day

· Additional activity sheets will be asked to be completed at home to help build on the skills the children have learned
